Class Changes

What To Do
Tier
The Season 3, the tier set is VERY strong, so you will likely want to get it ASAP, perhaps even dropping item level to do so. Sim yourself for the best answers, but don’t be shocked if it happens.
Talents/Rotation
Shado-Pan for basically everything. Conduit can be used for short single target fights (sub 5-minutes), but Shado-Pan is best all the other times.
- If playing Shado-Pan, do what you can to not cap energy, overcapping Chi is less than ideal, but much less important.
- If playing Conduit of the Celestials, use Slicing Winds right after your Strike of the Windlord to stack the Heart of the Jade Serpent buffs together.
Stats
No change: Agility >> Mastery = Haste >> Versatility = Critical Strike
2H vs 1H
2-handed weapons are best, get the one from Ara-Kara, City of Echoes, Harvester’s Interdiction.
Durable Information Securing Container
You will replace this with a higher item level belt when you get one. Sim yourself to be sure, but that is the most likely path. Best chance is that it will be replaced with your first 11.2 embellishment recraft.
Embellishments
Duskthread Lining or Dawnthread Lining to Bracers and Boots until you can craft a higher item level Belt than you Durable Information Securing Container Belt then Bracers and Belt. This frees up your Cloak for Reshii Wraps and Interloper’s Reinforced Sandals.
Trinkets
Ideally you want Araz’s Ritual Forge and an equip trinket like Astral Antenna. As always, sim your options to see what’s best for you in particular.
Consumables
- You will likely want to use the “gain X of your highest secondary stat for 1 hour” feasts like The Sushi Special or food like Beledar’s Bounty.
- Enchant Weapon – Stonebound Artistry to your weapon.
Macros
With the recent change to Spinning Crane Kick, we can finally cast abilities that have no cast or channel time at the end of its GCD without interrupting the channel any more. Vivify buffed by Vivacious Vivification still interrupts the channel of Spinning Crane Kick even though it has no cast time.
